AVID - MTRX 2 Mic/Line Pristine AD Card

The AVID MTRX 2 Mic/Line Pristine AD Card has been designed to extend the analogue input capabilities of the MTRX interface while maintaining a high level of audio quality and conversion accuracy. The card adds two fully remote controllable mic/line channels, providing a solution particularly suited to production studios, post-production rooms and broadcast environments where additional inputs are required without complicating the installation.

One of the key features of this extension is its relay-based gain circuit. This architecture allows extremely precise adjustments of the input level while maintaining great stability and excellent sound transparency. Microphone gain can be adjusted from -18 to +70 dB in 0.1 dB steps, making it easy to use with both sensitive microphones and sources requiring more gain.

Designed for talkback and tracking applications, this card also offers very high technical performance, with equivalent input noise of less than -133dB(A), crosstalk of less than -120dB and extremely low THD+N. These characteristics ensure that recorded sources retain all their finesse, even in demanding configurations or high-end production lines.

24-bit analogue-to-digital converters compatible up to 384 kHz ensure seamless integration into modern audio infrastructures. Support for DSD 64 and DSD 128 formats also enhances its versatility in specialist mastering or production environments.

Thanks to its modular format, this card installs directly into an available slot on the AVID MTRX base unit, making it easy to adapt the system configuration as studio needs change.
