Motu - 828 mk3 Hybrid

The 828mk3 Hybrid includes 28 inputs and 30 outputs on a 1 rack unit! All inputs / outputs are routed via a new embedded digital mixer with 16 buses run by DSP and an accuracy of 32 bit floating point. The mixer allows you to apply effects on the inputs, outputs or bus directly to the card without latency, regardless of the computer. The effects can also be used when the 828mk3 is offline ("stand alone"), it becomes a real mixing rack. The input signal can be recorded with the internal effects of the card, with or without the effects applied when mixing your software (for musicians during recording, for example).

The 828mk3 Hybrid can connect a wide range of audio equipment such as microphones, guitars, synths, keyboards, drum machines and other effects processors. In addition to the two pre-amplified front inputs, the 828mk3 includes two independent headphone jacks with their own potentiometer, one can also control the main output XLR on the rear of the interface. This button "main volume" can also be programmed to control any type of output ((analog and / or digital). It can, for example, be assigned to monitor outputs for control of a 5.1 or 7.1 surround system.
