The new R24 is an evolution of the R16 came out last year with the number of tracks has been increased to 24 (reading, instead of 16) and now incorporates a sampler function and 8 pads plus three shift buttons bank. The R24 can record up to 8 tracks simultaneously via its catch combo XLR / Jack which 6 are equipped with phantom power and has a Hi-Z switch for direct recording guitar or bass.
