Wanted to use this cable to control an ENGL ironball SE with the boss FS-1-WL foot-switch via midi. It did not work. Had to figure out that this cable is type A, whereas the amp requires a type B trs to work. Note, that it is not mentioned anywhere on the packaging of the cable if the TRS end is wired as type A or B. Lot of frustration would have been speared with a clear labeling. Finally to make it work i had to cut the cable and rewire it by hand into a type B configuration.
