Born in 1980, the Bell Brass snare drum was designed to match the explosive sounds of a new decade of music and delivered the purest snare drum sound ever made. Used extensively in heavy rock music of the 80s and 90s, TAMA's Bell Brass snare became known simply as "THE TERMINATOR". As aggressive as its sound was, its versatility was unmatched as it found its way into the hands of the world's best jazz and fusion drummers of the time.
