Alesis Drum - Turbo Pro Kit

The Alesis Turbo Pro Kit electronic drum kit is based on an electronic architecture centred around a four-legged metal rack. This base keeps the playing surfaces in a stable and uncluttered layout, organised in a way that makes it easy to move between the different components of the kit.

It is equipped with four 8-inch pads fitted with mesh heads, which provide a natural response to the sticks and minimise impact noise. The three 8-inch cymbals complete this playing surface with a layout that promotes hand-foot coordination, whilst keeping each element easily accessible for varying techniques and rhythms.

The 6-inch bass drum pad and its dedicated pedal give the right foot a proper role right from the very first exercises. This setup helps develop coordination with the hands, whilst maintaining a layout similar to that of an acoustic drum kit. Footwork thus takes centre stage in the learning process, with progressive coordination between both feet.

The sound module features 12 drum kits and 110 instruments, including drums, cymbals, percussion and special effects. Its tempo, click track, adjustable metronome and practice functions offer a range of options for working on rhythm, with a segmented display to monitor key settings. The recording and playback function also provides a simple way to save and then listen back to a played sequence, enabling users to compare different interpretations and better assess the consistency of their playing.

The 20 backing tracks enrich your playing with a variety of musical accompaniments, whilst the recording and playback functions allow you to listen back to what you’ve just played. Bluetooth also provides an audio source for playing through headphones with tracks streamed from a compatible device, without cluttering up the kit with extra equipment. This combination makes the module versatile for rhythmic exercises and playing along with music, with a playful approach that keeps practice sessions engaging and varies the learning contexts over time.
