Antari - MB-55 Mobile Fog Machine

The MB-55 is a mobile fog machine that combines power and autonomy. With its 1450 watts, it achieves a flow rate of 110 ml/min, enough to create a dense fog in just a few moments. Once preheated, it operates without a continuous power supply, making it a perfect ally for TV sets, location shoots or quick indoor installations. Its lightweight, compact design makes it easy to transport, while guaranteeing performance worthy of a corded machine.

Its main advantage is its autonomy: after 7.5 minutes of warm-up, the Antari MB-55 can operate for up to 45 minutes without being connected to the mains. This is particularly useful for locations without direct access to a power supply, or for effects on the move. The power cable disconnects after heating up, and the remote control allows effects to be launched remotely. This system also reduces the risk of cables falling, which improves safety on stage.

This machine does not use a conventional pump. Instead, it runs on pressurised fluid, which avoids vibrations and reduces operating noise. A built-in green LED indicates when the machine is ready for use, making it intuitive to use. The built-in reservoir contains Antari FLP-700 pressurised fluid, designed to produce a dense, even smoke with excellent air resistance. At full output, the cartridge lasts for around 7.5 minutes, which is just the right amount of time for short, powerful effects.

Measuring just 34 cm long and 25 cm high, and weighing just 10.2 kg, it fits easily into a trunk or mobile control room. Its metal casing withstands the rigours of transport and stage use. It is supplied with a mains cable and a wired remote control for quick triggering. For added flexibility, a version with wireless remote control (FCR-1) is also available as an option, adding real convenience in complex environments.

The MB-55 is particularly suited to mobile service providers, small video productions, theatres or temporary installations. It allows professional rendering without the need for a continuous power supply, a real advantage in many field situations.
