Amplifier Heads for Bass
With a classic five-tube preamp configuration and a power section comprised of four KT88 tubes, the CTM-200 is capable of delivering its powerful sounds at small to medium-sized gigs, night after night. Flexible, it goes from the smooth sound of the '60s to the aggressive sound of the '70s, to a thick and powerful modern sound, the CTM-200R covers a wide sonic spectrum.

Presentation
Press the Mellow knob for clean, warm, and mellow tones, or hit it for a pure, powerful growl.
The standard tone controls give you a wide range of ultra-musical sounds, while the Deep, Mid Shift, and Bright switches let you tailor your tone to the situation.
The EQ section is a passive tone circuit—meaning that if all the controls are at zero, there will be no sound from the amp. All controls are highly interactive, giving you the ability to dial in exactly the tone you want. Don't be afraid to turn the knobs all the way up to get the most out of the controls.
The CTM-200R eliminates costly and time-consuming trips to the technician and helps preserve your amp's tone for longer. It features user-adjustable bias for both output valves, which can be set by activating the bias mode of the dual-function VU meter on the front panel. Each output tube is individually fused and can be replaced by the user without removing the unit from its case (the meter also indicates tube or fuse failure).
To transmit your sound directly to the music stand, in the studio or on stage, the CTM-200R features a transformer-derived, valve-based DI output with an isolated ground for maximum sonic purity and consistent output, night after night.
Similarly, the front-mounted effects loop is also tube-driven for maximum tone preservation.
