The SPL ONE FB from Audiopole is a sound level limiter and recorder designed to ensure compliance with current standards while providing precise management of sound levels in a variety of environments.

Compliant with decrees 98-1143 of December 15, 1998 and 2017-1244 of August 7, 2017, as well as the Afnor NF S31-122-1 standard of January 2017, this device ensures both the protection of the public's hearing and the preservation of the sound environment, particularly in public places or noise-sensitive spaces.

The SPL ONE FB operates in two distinct modes. In insertion mode, it acts in real time on the broadcast system to limit overall sound levels or by frequency bands, thus avoiding any exceeding of the programmed thresholds.

This mode is particularly useful in fixed installations, such as concert halls or clubs. In monitoring mode, the device can trigger visual alarms in the event of prolonged exceeding of the authorized levels, or even cut off the power supply via an integrated relay for immediate intervention.

This dual approach allows for flexible adaptation to the specific needs of each installation.

One of the distinctive features of this model is its ability to limit levels in octave bands, ranging from 63 Hz to 4 kHz. Although 63 Hz is not taken into account by the decrees, its integration into the limitation allows for effective management of low frequencies that can be annoying for the neighborhood.

In addition, the included SPL-CAP sensor is equipped with a piezoelectric transducer that continuously checks its integrity, thus reducing the risk of fraud and ensuring reliable measurements.

The device also integrates an embedded web server, allowing sound levels to be configured and viewed from any browser, on Mac or PC, without the need for specific software.

Users can access real-time data and download measurement histories in text, CSV or HTML formats.

The internal memory is sized to store continuous data over a period of six months, providing detailed monitoring of sound levels and events.

Finally, the SPL ONE FB offers advanced features such as configurable time ranges, relay outputs for alarms and the ability to adapt the regulation according to the opening of doors or windows, for precise and intelligent acoustic control.
