Axel Technology - Licence DML Audio 4 Channel

The DML Audio 4-Channel Licence from Axel Technology is a software licence that enables four audio recording channels on a DML Audio installation. It thus increases the system’s logging capacity, allowing multiple separate sources to be stored within the same infrastructure.

DML Audio functions as a permanent archive of broadcast or recorded content. Each channel has its own recorded stream, which makes it possible, in particular, to monitor several programmes, audio outputs or feed sources in parallel. This setup is particularly well-suited to radio stations that need to retain different sources to meet requirements for compliance, broadcast monitoring, advertising verification or simply programme monitoring.

The four channels can receive sources from various interfaces compatible with DML Audio. In particular, the system supports WDM audio cards and AoIP environments such as Dante and Livewire, as well as various IP sources. Recordings can be made in mono or stereo, with sampling rates of 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz, and several audio formats available depending on quality and archiving requirements.

Content remains accessible whilst capture is in progress. DML Player allows you to browse the archive by date and time, play back multiple channels simultaneously and quickly extract a sequence using the Mark-In and Mark-Out functions. The DML Web Viewer, meanwhile, allows content to be viewed via a web browser, whilst monitoring tools make it easy to track the status of recordings.

With four channels available, this licence provides a solution suited to installations that need to log multiple audio streams simultaneously whilst maintaining a clear archive structure and independent access to the various sources.
