In a radio or television studio, a simple light signal can convey information that is immediately understandable without interrupting the work in progress. This is precisely the role of Axel Technology’s Mr Light RGB. This LED indicator has been designed to visually signal a status or instruction in on-air, production and recording studios, but its use is not limited to the audiovisual sector. It can also be used in an audio booth, a meeting room, an office or any other space requiring a light signal.

Its unique feature lies in its level of customisation. The panel can display text, a logo, an icon, a symbol or a pictogram, whilst the RGB lighting allows you to choose different colours so that each hue can be associated with specific information. This approach makes it possible, for example, to visually distinguish between different usage statuses of a space without having to install multiple signalling devices.

Its operation can be adapted to the situation thanks to several lighting modes. The Mr Light RGB offers, in particular, flashing effects, alternating colours, light variations and continuous operation. Two buttons on the side allow you to change the colour and lighting mode directly, whilst an automatic mode can cycle through the various available combinations.

Installation has also been designed to be straightforward. The unit can be mounted on a wall or ceiling using the kit supplied, and its 12 V power supply allows for flexible installation relative to the mains socket. Two optocoupler-isolated GPIO inputs also allow for remote control via an external system.
