The B&C Speakers 12HCX76 4+16 Ohm is a 12-inch coaxial loudspeaker that combines power, efficiency and dispersion control.
This version, also known as the 12 HCX 76 4+16 or 12-HCX76 4+16 Ohm, combines two separate drivers in a single unit: a bass section with a 76mm copper voice coil, and a treble section incorporating a 75mm titanium diaphragm with aluminium voice coil.
The single-ring neodymium motor powers both channels to save space and significantly reduce weight, without compromising robustness or transient response.
In terms of performance, you get a very wide frequency response from 45 Hz to 18 kHz, a constant 60° x 40° directivity and a high sound pressure level: 99 dB for the woofer, 107 dB for the tweeter.
The bass section can handle up to 700 W in programme, with a good reserve of dynamics and minimal distortion thanks to an aluminium demodulation ring.
The B&C 12-HCX76 4+16 Ohm is ideal for building compact, high-output two-way speakers, and also features a waterproof cone on the front, a double silicone spider, an integrated horn with a modified exponential curve and a chassis designed for precise integration.
