The B&C Speakers 21SW115 8 Ohm Push Buttons is one of the most powerful and efficient bass transducers in the B&C range. Designed to deliver considerable energy in the very low frequencies, it is intended for large subwoofers used in sound systems with high sound pressure levels.
Equipped with a 21-inch (53 cm) cone, this driver offers an impressive 1680 cm² of emissive surface area, ensuring massive air displacement and physical impact at the lowest frequencies. Its 4.5-inch (115 mm) copper voice coil mounted on a fibreglass support enables it to handle up to 1700 W AES continuously, while maintaining high thermal and mechanical stability.
Its neodymium magnet combined with a demodulation ring ensures precise control of magnetic flux, limiting harmonic distortion and improving fidelity in the lower end of the spectrum. With an Xmax of ±14 mm, the 21SW115 is capable of reproducing intense bass levels without any loss of linearity.
Ideal for speakers tuned around 32 Hz, it excels in bass-reflex loads of around 250 litres, offering an extended frequency response from 30 to 1000 Hz. Robust, powerful and remarkably controlled, this model sets the standard for professional bass, designed to meet the demands of touring, clubs and fixed installations with high sound impact.
