The MD/DE254 8 Ohm diaphragm is one of a range of replacement components developed by B&C Speakers to ensure the continued operation of their compression drivers.
Compatible with reference DE25, it allows a motor to be returned to service while respecting its original electrical and acoustic balance, without any particular adaptation to the existing system.
This 8 ohm version fits naturally into configurations designed for this impedance, particularly in systems where power management, coupling with amplification or coherence between several loudspeakers require this value.
Replacing the diaphragm changes neither the load seen by the amplifier nor the behaviour of the filtering, guaranteeing perfect continuity of overall operation.
The MD/DE254 is designed to faithfully restore the efficiency and response of the DE25 motor. High-frequency reproduction retains its precision, legibility and balance, with no perceptible variation in timbre or level.
