Presentation
In a video production environment, the simultaneous management of several streams quickly becomes essential. The Blackmagic Design DeckLink Duo 2 has been designed precisely to meet this need, offering a compact solution capable of managing up to four independent video streams within a single system.
This PCIe card features 4 fully configurable SDI connections, which can be used as input or output as required. This flexibility means it can be adapted to different workflows: multi-camera capture, multi-screen broadcasting, simultaneous recording of several sources or video server management.
Each channel operates independently, allowing multiple streams to be processed in parallel without compromise. In a streaming or live production context, this means it is possible to capture several cameras while sending a signal to a control monitor or broadcast system.
DeckLink Duo 2 supports a wide range of video formats, from SD to HD and up to certain Ultra HD formats, depending on the configuration. It is compatible with the main industry standards and integrates easily into existing professional environments.
Software integration is also a key feature. The card works not only with DaVinci Resolve, but also with a wide range of editing, broadcast and streaming software. It is compatible with industry-standard APIs, enabling it to be integrated into custom solutions or automated workflows.
Thanks to its PCIe format, DeckLink Duo 2 can be installed directly in a workstation or server. It then becomes a central element for managing video inputs and outputs with minimal latency and great stability.
This type of card is mainly aimed at video professionals, production studios, broadcast control rooms and streaming infrastructures that need to manage several streams simultaneously in a reliable and scalable environment.
