BoomTone DJ - Star Beam

BoomTone DJ Star Beam has been designed to add drama to a dance floor without the need for three different fixtures. This 3-in-1 LED light set combines a B-eye effect, a beam and a strobe, complemented by a ribbon of RGB LEDs that outline the spotlight. A single machine is all you need to fill the space with rotating beams, rhythmic flashes and atmospheric colours.

The B-eye effect is based on 4 CREE 10 W 4-in-1 LEDs. They produce a lively, matrix-like centre of light that naturally draws the eye to the heart of the stage or dancefloor. All around, 10 CREE 10 W 4-in-1 LEDs dedicated to the beam effect project tight beams that are highly visible in the light smoke. This ensemble creates graphic movements that are much appreciated at DJ nights, in clubs, on totem poles or behind DJ booths.

To enhance the rhythmic effect, BoomTone DJ Star Beam comes with 5 amber 5W LEDs dedicated to the strobe. The flash speed varies from 0 to 20 flashes per second, allowing both a simple light accent and a very strong effect on the highlights of a track. Around the optical compartment, a ribbon of 98 0.2 W 3535 RGB LEDs creates a coloured border that animates the spotlight itself, even when the rest of the stage is a little darker.

The device offers several operating modes to suit every configuration. In automatic mode, the internal programmes link movement, colour and strobe without complicated adjustment. Sound detection mode synchronises the effects to the music, making it ideal for mobile DJs, clubs or bars who want to set the mood without having to stand behind the controller all evening. Master-slave mode lets you synchronise several Star Beams together, while DMX512 mode gives you control over 13 channels for more precise control via a console or light controller.

Infinite rotation gives total freedom of beam movement. The Star Beam can link continuous rotations and changes of direction that fill the space, whether on a bridge or on a totem pole next to the DJ. The convection heat dissipation system, complemented by air cooling and intelligent temperature control, ensures that the LED block operates smoothly over time. Connection to the mains is via the Powercon cable supplied, ensuring a reliable connection for use in live performance or fixed installation.
