The Cherub WST-570Li Blue gives you two immediate advantages: you can see it and it's always ready. Its bright blue colour makes it easy to spot in a dark case or on a crowded stage. More importantly, its built-in lithium battery can be recharged via USB cable, eliminating the cost and hassle of button cells for good. A single charge gives it almost five hours of operation.
Tuning becomes a smooth operation. Clip it onto the neck of your instrument - the metal clip rotates 360° to suit any angle. The colour LCD screen swivels with it, ensuring that the display remains straight and legible. Key information is presented with great clarity.
The unit detects all guitar, bass and ukulele notes accurately (±1 cent), with an extended range from A0 to C8. The reference pitch can be adjusted from 430 to 450 Hz, a handy feature for aligning with other instruments or for alternative tunings. After five minutes of inactivity, it switches itself off to preserve its charge.
