The 4038 ribbon studio microphone was designed by the BBC as a broadcast recording microphone with a particularly flat frequency response from 30 Hz to 15 kHz. The 4038 has a very smooth and natural response to sound signals. A 4069 XLR connector and rigid stand are supplied with the microphone. This microphone can be used in a wide variety of situations, from grunge guitars to classical grand pianos. Many well-known producers use it regularly for a wide variety of applications.
