The Essence-OC4 Top Black Semi-Gloss from Cort is an Orchestra Model (OM) electro-acoustic guitar with a Venetian cutaway. It features a solid, torrefied Sitka spruce top (Aged-To-Vintage technology for an aged sound) and mahogany back and sides, for a rich, warm sound. It features the Fishman Presys VT preamp system with discrete Volume/Tone controls and Elixir strings. It has a semi-gloss finish with a black top.

The 'Aged-to-Vintage' roasted solid Sitka spruce top reveals a rich tone with a mature character, while the mahogany back and sides add a soft warmth and a strong mid-range. The mahogany neck, glued with a dovetail joint, ensures smooth transmission of vibrations between the body and the rosewood fingerboard, for a dynamic, balanced response.
The sculpted X-shaped bracing contributes to the resonance and precision of the sound, while the chrome-plated open action adds a charming vintage touch.
