Crane Song Avocet IIA, high-end monitoring controller with audio source routing system. It is designed for use in professional studio environments and aims to deliver exceptional sound quality during monitoring sessions and mixing.
The Crane Song Avocet IIA allows sound engineers and producers to switch between different audio sources, such as studio monitors, headphones and analogue or digital sources. It also incorporates precise volume control and features such as phase management and level calibration.
Crane Song's Avocet IIA, together with the Quantum DAC VER 2.1 (20160204), represents a state-of-the-art 5th generation design with remarkably low jitter. The Quantum DAC incorporates a 32-bit converter and ASRC for effective jitter reduction and oversampling to 211 kHz, in keeping with the Avocet's history. The reference clock is less than 1pS (0.5pS typical from 1Hz to 100KHz) and features an exclusive reconstruction filter for accurate time-domain response.
In addition to these advances, new features have been added, including direct subwoofer outputs for each of the three outputs, offering increased flexibility. Notably, output levels are now programmable in 0.25dB increments, offering meticulous control over speaker level adjustment.
