Crown - 135MA

The Crown 135MA combines an audio mixer and a 35-watt power amplifier in a compact design. It is a solution particularly well-suited to shops, reception areas, restaurants, hotels, schools and administrative buildings where the broadcast of announcements and music needs to be simple, reliable and continuous.

Its compatibility with 8 Ω low-impedance systems as well as 70 V and 100 V loudspeaker networks means it can be integrated into a wide variety of sound system set-ups.

The 135MA provides three independent inputs with individual volume control. The main input, fitted with a Phoenix connector, accepts both a microphone and a line-level source via a dedicated configuration selector. The two other RCA inputs allow for easy connection of audio players, tuners, music distribution systems or other analogue sources.

To ensure perfect intelligibility of announcements, the unit features an automatic priority function that can be triggered either by VOX voice detection or by an external contact closure. When an announcement is made, background music is automatically attenuated to give the message full prominence.

The Crown 135MA also incorporates a dedicated output for music on hold (MOH), allowing it to be connected directly to a telephone switchboard or a PBX system.

Using the configuration switches on the rear of the unit, it is possible to select precisely which sources should be routed to this output. A balanced pre-amplified output is also available to drive an additional amplifier when the installation requires more power.
