The D’Addario Auto Lock Woven Guitar Strap features a built-in fastening system that eliminates the need for separate strap locks. Its self-locking spring-loaded clasp fits onto the strap button and remains securely engaged without accidentally coming undone.
The principle is simple: a press of the mechanism is all it takes to attach or remove the strap. This design is ideal for set-ups where you wish to keep the attachment discreet on the instrument.
With a width of 50.8 mm and an adjustable length ranging from 762 to 1397 mm, the strap offers a range of adjustment suitable for different playing positions. It can be adjusted to the desired height.
The mechanism is thus integrated directly into the strap. It remains compatible with most standard buttons, but is not suitable for end-pin jacks or plastic strap attachments. This design is the result of a collaboration with Ned Steinberger.
