The D'Addario ETB92M belongs to the Nylon Tapewound series, renowned for its extremely soft touch and warm sound character. Each string is built around a core of high-carbon steel. The core is wrapped in flattened black nylon mesh and polished to a very smooth surface.
The Medium 50-105 tension provides stable tension and good bass response. Notes retain a marked depth while retaining a rounded, percussive character. This type of sound is ideal for both fretted and fretless basses.
The nylon coating considerably reduces finger-slip noise. This results in cleaner playing and a very comfortable feel in the hand. The strings remain precise while retaining a soft, balanced sound.
Each set is packaged in a recyclable VCI pouch that protects the strings before use. A Players Circle code is included to register the product and collect points. The strings are made in the USA at the D'Addario production centre in New York State.
