In sound, lighting and event installations, powerCON connectors are widely used to power professional equipment. DAP's 10 m powerCON connection cable is designed to link two devices or to extend a power line already equipped with this type of connector.

This cable uses two Neutrik powerCON connectors, a blue model for the power input and a grey model for the output. This distinction corresponds to the logic of use of the powerCON system, which clearly separates the power and link connectors to avoid any confusion when assembling an installation. In a lighting rack, an active loudspeaker system or a set of LED projectors, this type of cable allows several devices to be chained together simply and securely.

The 10-metre length provides a comfortable margin for linking equipment placed at a distance or for neatly organising cabling on stage, in a control room or in a technical structure. In a live environment, having different lengths of powerCON cable makes it easier to manage electrical distribution and limits the stress on connectors.

The cable is based on copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², a format commonly used to power audio and lighting equipment operating on mains power. This cross-section supports a nominal current of 16 amperes, which corresponds to the capacity generally associated with the powerCON connectors used in this type of installation.
