The Denis Wick Ultra AT3UY mouthpiece has been designed for CC tubas and is suitable for all models of this instrument.
The 32.8 mm bowl diameter combined with an 8.2 mm grain promotes a deep, even sound. The Helleberg-style bowl, slightly concave with straight sides, improves projection and resonance.
The wide V-type tail ensures precise compatibility with the mouthpiece and bell of the tuba. The rim, designed by Warren Deck, combines width and light bite for optimum comfort. Every detail has been thought out to facilitate the emission and stability of sound in all registers.
