Richard Marshall is recognised as one of the greatest British cornetists of his generation. Principal Cornet of the legendary Black Dyke Band, he also made history as a founding member of the Eminence Brass Quartet, alongside Philip Cobb, Owen Farr and David Childs, with whom he recorded critically acclaimed albums such as 'Tribute' (2009) and 'Jewels' (2012). His career has been marked by prestigious collaborations, notably with Denis Wick, for whom he has designed a range of signature mouthpieces reflecting his unique approach to the instrument.
