Derek Trucks is an exceptional American guitarist. Born in 1979, he has been playing since the age of nine. He is famous for his mastery of the slide. At the age of 20, he joined the Allman Brothers Band. He also founded the Derek Trucks Band. His style blends blues, rock, jazz and world music. He often plays a Gibson SG. His playing is inspired by Duane Allman and Elmore James. With his wife, Susan Tedeschi, he forms the Tedeschi Trucks Band. He has won several Grammy Awards. His music remains deep and vibrant.
