Eddie Van Halen marked the history of the electric guitar with his fast, inventive style. Founder of the group Van Halen, he popularised techniques such as tapping and constantly sought to push back the boundaries of sound. His Frankenstrat guitar, assembled with his own hands, has become a symbol. He has also collaborated with some of the world's greatest artists, notably on Michael Jackson's Beat It solo. His approach to playing and making instruments continues to influence many musicians. The EVHPT04 model is inspired by the black and yellow design of the 'Bumblebee' guitar used by Eddie Van Halen in the late 70s, which has become one of his most recognisable visuals.
