Jimi Hendrix, the legendary guitarist born in Seattle in 1942, revolutionised rock in just four years. An emblematic figure of the psychedelic movement of the 60s, he made history with legendary performances such as Woodstock in 1969. His albums, including Are You Experienced and Electric Ladyland, remain benchmarks. Tragically lost in 1970 at the age of 27, Hendrix continues to inspire generations of musicians around the world.
