Guitar Strings
Since the 2000s, Trivium have established themselves as one of the biggest names in metal with their increasingly accomplished albums and Sold Out tours. In addition to guitarists Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto worked with the Dunlop team to develop his signature 5-string set. The result is this set in Hybrid Nickel (a blend of nickel and stainless steel), the nickel adding roundness and punch in the low end while the stainless steel enriches the midrange for greater presence in the mix. Presentation
Metal band Trivium needs no introduction (fans of the genre, take a look at the band's discography), every album a complete success and every tour 'Sold Out'.
Founded in 2000 by Matt Heafy (when he was just 14), Trivium became a pioneer of Metalcore in its infancy before evolving towards a more open style, integrating more of their respective influences (Metallica and Iron Maiden, among others).
Respected as much for their music and flawless technique as for their humanity, the band now enjoys the support of some of the world's leading instrument manufacturers: Jackson, Gibson/Epiphone, Kiesel, to name but a few.
The musicians turned to the legendary Dunlop to develop a range of signature strings and picks, which have since been used in the studio and on tour.
This 5-string set represents what Paolo was looking for in terms of sound: pronounced basses with punch, present mediums and musical highs. The 45-130 draw makes it possible to play in standard B and even to drop in A without losing definition.
