Earpad Strong earplugs are the ideal solution for protecting your hearing while staying connected to your environment. Thanks to the loudness process (patented by Earsonics), they allow you to lower the volume by 23 dB without distorting the sound.

The sensitivity of the human ear varies greatly according to sound pressure, so it does not perceive sound in a uniform way.
In fact, our amplification curve peaks at around 4000 Hz and is not very sensitive in the high and low frequencies.
So when the sound is attenuated, the ear naturally wants to compensate for all the other frequencies that it does not naturally amplify and to which it is much less sensitive.
Based on this observation, Earsonics has developed Earpad Strong earplugs to protect hearing in an optimum way by favouring attenuation on the most sensitive frequencies and relaxing attenuation on the extreme highs and lows to make sound more natural and more dynamic.
