The Echo Fix EF-P5 FET Compressor is a studio-grade analogue compression pedal that combines extended dynamic control with vintage musical tone. Built around a FET circuit with high-quality input and output transformers, it delivers rich, warm and expressive compression in a compact format.
Its intuitive controls allow you to fine-tune the attack, release and mix to tailor the dynamics to the context of use (tracking, mixing or live). The compressor also features a High-Pass Filter to protect low frequencies from over-activation, and selectable ratios (4:1, 8:1, 12:1 and 20:1) for switching between subtle compression and more pronounced effects.
Functionally, the EF-P5 features a side-chain input, a gain boost switch, a flexible metering option (Gain Reduction, 0 dBu, +4 dBu or off) and a programmable start-up state. Its fully analogue signal path, complemented by mixed XLR/Jack connectivity, makes it a versatile pedal that combines character, flexibility and precision for a wide range of sound sources.
