Presentation
The Fender Fat Stratocaster Neck Satin Roasted Maple continues the heritage of Fender's modular design, providing musicians with a reliable basis for customising or restoring their Stratocaster. Designed as an official replacement neck, it allows the feel and response of the instrument to be adapted without betraying its identity.
Its particularly thick Large U profile gives the neck a very solid feel. This consistent shape from the nut to the last fret provides stability and control, qualities appreciated by guitarists with strong playing, controlled bends and clean attacks.
The roasted maple plays a central role in the behaviour of the neck, increasing its resistance to climatic variations and promoting a more direct response, with natural sustain. The torrefied maple fingerboard, combined with a 9.5" radius and 22 Medium Jumbo frets, offers an effective balance between modern comfort and precision.
The satin finish on the back of the neck makes it easy to move around quickly, with a soft, familiar feel. This Fat Stratocaster Neck is an excellent basis for creating a Stratocaster that's expressive, stable and fun to play every day.
As original Fender replacement necks are not mounted on guitar bodies, the saddle notches must be made by a qualified technician. Other installation operations may be required, such as fretting, adjusting the neck to its housing and other instrument adjustments.
