Presentation
This limited edition of the Player II Advanced has all the arguments to seduce Rock players and even Metal players.
Wishing to combine the aesthetics and classic versatility of the Stratocaster with more "modern" elements, this version is equipped with a fixed bridge and locking tuners ensuring flawless tuning stability and great ease for changing strings.
In order to captivate the eyes on stage, the Arctic White finish benefits from a satin varnish making the beauty hyper classy, all supported by a black pickguard to emphasize efficiency.
The most technical players and the most furious soloists will be more than happy to practice on a maple neck with a Modern "C" profile and an ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius. Everything is there, from tapping to sweeping to the sharpest riffs.
All this is magnified by the trio of Seymour Duncan JB / Custom Flat Strat pickups, renowned and proven by players around the world for many decades. The JB (SH-4) is a humbucker capable of great aggressiveness but while retaining warmth thanks to its Alnico V magnet, giving it full and powerful bass, defined treble while bringing a bump in the high mids in order to break through the mix and bring more crunch to the sound.
The Custom Flat Strat are single-coil pickups also having an Alnico V magnet but which, even if they have an over-coil, have an average output level to maintain definition through their naturally fiery character. Note that the central microphone is a RWRP (Reverse Wind/Reverse Pole) in order to annihilate any hum-type noise on the central and central + neck positions.
But in addition to the famous Strat cutout, Fender luthiers have respected the original specifications by using alder for the body of the beast in order to keep a sound with great sustain and balance in the frequencies.
