Focal - Utopia
Utopia is Focal's reference headphone. It is the result of 35 years of innovation, design and manufacturing of loudspeakers and acoustic enclosures in France. A world first: Utopia plays the innovation card in the high-end audiophile headphone segment, by integrating the first wideband loudspeaker, completely open at the back, with a pure Beryllium "M" dome. The result: a transducer capable of operating without any active or passive correction from 5 Hz to over 50 kHz! The listening experience is striking in its realism, neutrality, dynamics and transparency. The headphone disappears completely and the transcription of the audio signal is of unparalleled purity. Emphasis has also been placed on design, both in terms of usage criteria, comfort and overall aesthetics. The offset of the joint within the headband is the perfect example and allows the carbon fiber yoke to offer a design of remarkable purity, without any break. Genuine lambskin, used on the pads and the headband, completes the affirmation of the classy, high-performance and comfortable side of Utopia, with added elegance.
