When you're carrying several cymbals, you soon need something more serious than a simple fleece cover. That's where the Gator GP-ICON-CYM22 comes in. This case is designed to offer a real level of protection, whether for the daily commute or longer tours.
The 1000D nylon outer shell is tough enough to withstand water, snags and frequent use. The interior is lined with ultra-soft red micro-velour, with generous padding throughout. Each cymbal rests in its own separate space: up to five 22" cymbals in the main compartment, thanks to the padded dividers supplied, and up to three 16" cymbals in the front compartment.
When it comes to carrying the case, everything is designed for comfort: integrated rucksack-style shoulder straps, padded back, removable shoulder strap or reinforced padded handle. The base of the case has an extra layer of nylon and rubber feet, a real plus for cushioning shocks and preventing premature wear.
The sturdy, reliable YKK zips have paracord pulls for a secure grip, even when wearing gloves. The result is a bag that's well-organised, comfortable to carry and genuinely designed to preserve the integrity of your cymbals.
