Gator - GPC2414BD

Transporting a 24" bass drum without worrying about knocks, weather or storage just got a whole lot easier with the Gator GPC2414BD. Designed for drummers who want effective protection without breaking their backs, this moulded case combines solidity, carrying comfort and internal security.

The secret to its sturdiness lies in its rotomoulded polyethylene construction: a tough material designed to absorb shocks and resist moisture. The interior is lined with ultra-soft red microfibre velour, which prevents scratches while keeping the drum firmly in place. Each seam is reinforced and runs through the inside and outside, guaranteeing impeccable wear over time.

At the rear, the Gator Grooves system offers a real plus: the alignment channels allow several cases to be stacked in a stable manner, without the risk of tipping over. The feet fit into the grooves provided for this purpose. It's discreet, but terribly effective, especially when you're transporting several items in a van or collective flight-case.

To handle the case, there are three spring-loaded handles with 90° stops, two of which are on the sides for a more balanced two-handed grip. Three straps with metal buckles ensure a solid closure, even in the event of shaking. Finally, an external badge indicates the size of the case for immediate identification, a handy little detail when you're managing several drums of different sizes.
