With its Tweed cladding and gold-striped oxblood grille, the Gator GR-RETRORACK-3TW offers a vintage-style 3U rack solution. Practical, stable and well thought-out, it combines retro aesthetics with compatibility with classic 19" rack equipment.

Presentation
The Gator GR-RETRORACK-3TW offers an original alternative to classic metal racks, with a design directly inspired by vintage guitar amps. It uses the standard 3U 19-inch format, but with a Tweed-covered wooden structure and a gold-striped oxblood textile grille, removable via a Velcro system.
This retro aesthetic does not prevent it from being fully functional. The rack is designed to accommodate studio equipment, modellers or rack-mounted guitar effects, up to 31.75 cm deep. It comes with two 1U and 2U divider panels to match the front panel fabric, so you can fill in the space if you need to, without detracting from the visual appeal.
The integrated tilt system allows the whole unit to be tilted slightly for better visibility or more direct access to the controls, which is particularly useful in the home studio or on stage. The rack rests on rubber feet to prevent it from slipping or damaging the surface on which it is placed.
When it comes to carrying it, there are spring-loaded side handles, which are handy for lifting it with both hands, and a leather handle on the top for quick solo carrying.
Halfway between an occasional piece of furniture and a functional rack, the GR-RETRORACK-3TW makes it possible to visually enhance a preamp, compressor or multi-effects while retaining fast, secure access to the connectors. A solution as practical as it is aesthetically pleasing for fans of vintage style.
