GHS L7200 Pressurewound Light 40-96 4-string bass strings use a slightly flattened wire to reduce sliding noise. They allow precise playing with a softer touch than a traditional roundwound. Pressurewound Light offers a good balance between comfort and definition.

GHS L7200 strings use a special construction with a slightly compressed wire. The hexagonal core is combined with a nickel-iron alloy for good magnetic response. The rollerwound process flattens the wire slightly to limit finger noise. The 40-54-76-96 tie rods offer a good compromise between flexibility and hold. This set remains comfortable for regular use.
The strings glide easily under the fingers. The feel is smoother than a classic roundwound set. This makes it easier to move around the neck.
