Presentation
The Gibson USA 80s Explorer in Ebony finish is an electric guitar that evokes the bold, revolutionary spirit of the 80s. With its distinctive angular design and modern specification, this guitar is perfect for players who want both aesthetics and performance.
The mahogany body, finished in nitrocellulose gloss varnish, offers the deep, rich resonance typical of Gibson instruments. This finish not only protects the wood, but also enhances its natural resonance, giving the guitar an elegant, classic look.
The mahogany neck with SlimTaper profile ensures a comfortable, quick grip, ideal for fast solos and powerful riffs.
The Indian rosewood fingerboard, with a 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, offers fluid, precise playability, perfect for both modern and classic playing techniques. Dotted fingerboard markings add a subtle touch to the guitar's aesthetic.
The 43.05 mm nut width and GraphTech saddle ensure tuning stability and optimum playing comfort. The 24.75" pitch ensures ideal string tension, facilitating bends and offering precise intonation.
The two 80s Tribute pickups capture the essence of the sound of the era with clear, powerful and dynamic tones. The controls include two volume knobs and a tone knob, allowing great flexibility in customising the sound.
The 3-position pick-up selector offers a variety of sound combinations, perfect for exploring different musical genres.
The Nashville aluminium Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminium tailpiece ensure optimum stability and excellent transmission of string vibrations.
Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners offer exceptional tuning accuracy and long-term durability. Fitted with 10-46 gauge strings, the Gibson 80s Explorer is ready to deliver exceptional performance straight from the case, which protects the instrument during transport and storage.
