Introduced in 1960, the Gibson Hummingbird was the brand’s first square-shouldered dreadnought acoustic guitar. Its famous pickguard, decorated with a hummingbird motif, has become iconic. Adopted notably by Keith Richards and Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones, it has made its mark in rock, folk and country music. Today’s models retain this identity with a Sitka spruce top, a mahogany back and sides, and a 24.75" scale length.
