Presentation
The Godin Multiac Steel Doyle Dykes guitar was designed in collaboration with guitarist Doyle Dykes. It takes a stage-oriented approach with great playability. Its chambered mahogany body reduces feedback problems in an amplified environment. The solid spruce top gives a natural, expressive clarity of sound. The high-gloss finish enhances the instrument's character.
The mahogany neck is combined with a Richlite fingerboard with a 16" radius. The 25.5" pitch and 1.715" nut width provide a comfortable playing feel. The white rose inlay at the 12th fret marks the model's aesthetic signature. The whole thing is designed to make it easy to play over long sessions.
The LR Baggs custom electronics combine an LB6 bridge pickup with an internal Lyric pickup. These two sources can be mixed to produce a realistic sound once amplified. The onboard preamp lets you adjust the sound directly from the guitar. This configuration gives precise control of tone both on stage and in the studio.
This guitar is perfect for fingerstyle guitarists who play in amplified conditions. Its design preserves a detailed acoustic sound while remaining stable at high volumes. It comes with a Deluxe TRIC carrying case to secure the instrument.

To find out more...
Doyle Dykes is an American guitarist renowned for his unique blend of country, gospel, blues and classical music. He is particularly famous for his fluid fingerpicking and his ability to transform his guitar into a veritable orchestra, playing melody, bass and percussion simultaneously. A long-standing Taylor artist, his "Guitar Boogie" and his adaptations of sacred hymns illustrate his deep Christian faith, which he often shares at his concerts.
