With the evolution of audio formats towards immersive configurations, monitoring requirements have changed profoundly. The Grace Design m908 is part of this transition, offering a complete solution capable of handling both a stereo system and an advanced multichannel environment, right through to immersive formats such as Dolby Atmos and other custom configurations.

The system is based on a modular architecture comprising a central processing unit, a remote controller and a redundant power supply. This organisation allows audio processing to be separated from user control, while guaranteeing a high level of stability in a professional environment. The controller has a familiar ergonomic design, with direct access to the essential monitoring functions.

Audio quality remains at the heart of the design. The m908 incorporates a new generation of analogue/digital and digital/analogue converters, combined with an analogue section designed to remain transparent. The aim is to preserve the integrity of the signal, without coloration, so that precise mix decisions can be made, whatever the broadcast format.

Internal processing is based on a powerful DSP capable of handling up to 24 channels simultaneously. Each channel can benefit from a full parametric EQ for room correction, delay control and advanced bass management. This flexibility allows the system to be adapted to a variety of acoustic environments, from post-production studios to auditoriums and immersive mixing rooms.

The m908 does more than just manage the signal. It also offers a complete set of monitoring tools, including mute, solo, dim, downmix and talkback functions. Multiple cue circuits can be configured to suit production needs, while the routing system allows inputs to be freely assigned to different outputs.

The connectivity reflects this professional approach. The system supports a wide range of digital inputs, as well as analogue and digital outputs. Optional modules allow network protocols such as Dante, DigiLink or AES67 to be added for integration into existing infrastructures.

The browser-based control interface greatly simplifies system configuration and operation. It enables routing, equalisation and monitoring parameters to be managed from any workstation connected to the network, with real-time synchronisation with the physical controller.
