On stage, in a rehearsal room or in the audio-visual world in general, free-standing equipment (lighting, sound, photography, microphones, etc.) is often very expensive. So you need to take the utmost care of it.
To limit the risk of falls and guarantee uncompromising safety, Gravity has designed BG SB ballast bags. Here, in its smallest version, it attaches easily to the bases of microphone tripods.

It has two internal pockets, which can be filled with sand, gravel or other materials that can be used as ballast. Easy to handle, they are made from water-repellent nylon, reinforced on the surface in contact with the foot with a non-slip mesh fabric.
So once you've put them on your tripods, they hold your equipment in place without the need for additional fasteners. This makes them easy to assemble, disassemble and handle.

However, in the event of strong winds, there are metal eyelets at each of the four corners, which can be used to secure the bags with a plastic collar or cable.

These versatile bags can also be of use to digital content creators. They often work with a long pole or a light table stand. This ballast bag can then both maintain stability and secure their equipment.
