Gretsch Guitars - Jim Dandy Dreadnought Deep Cherry Burst

Inspired by the Gretsch ‘Rex’ guitars featured in catalogues from the 1930s to the 1950s, the Gretsch Jim Dandy Dreadnought Deep Cherry Burst captures that classic spirit in a version designed for today’s guitarists.

Its dreadnought shape with dropped shoulders retains the volume, projection and bass response associated with this body style, whilst offering a compact playing feel thanks to its 629 mm scale length.

Its laminated sapele body features an X-brace, whilst the ‘C’-shaped nato neck and walnut fingerboard provide a natural playing feel throughout your sessions. The 20 frets, synthetic bone nut and walnut bridge with compensated saddle complete a design faithful to the model’s specifications.

The semi-gloss finish highlights the Deep Cherry Burst colour, complemented by a black pickguard featuring a gold ‘G’ logo. The open-gear die-cast tuning machines and white synthetic mother-of-pearl dot inlays reinforce its vintage-inspired visual identity.

Supplied as standard with D’Addario EJ16 Phosphor Bronze Light strings (.012–.053), this acoustic guitar offers a simple and enjoyable way to accompany a variety of playing styles.
