Cleaning Agents for Guitar
Guitar and bass strings are made from hardened stainless steel or nickel, in thicknesses of up to 3 mm. Ordinary pliers are designed for soft copper and therefore fail miserably when used on strings. The GrooveTech string cutter has been developed specifically for this application, using an exclusive heat treatment process. Even bass B strings cut easily.
