Presentation
Here to help you write your own story - the P-240 Memoir. This small-bodied parlor guitar is built with a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides with a sleek, high-gloss finish and 12-fret neck. Compact yet powerful, the P-240's sound is clear and bright, perfect for fingerpicking and flatpicking. The mother-of-pearl rosette, vintage-inspired Guild Script logo and split headstock pay homage to the classic style of 1920s instruments. The sound of the P-240 is instantly familiar and, despite its small size, full and accurate, almost as if its sound had been perfected over years of fireside strumming and family jamming.

The Westerly collection pays tribute to an important period in Guild's early history, when Guild outgrew its beloved Hoboken, New Jersey factory and moved production to Westerly, Rhode Island in 1967. Finding a home in an old furniture manufacturing building, Guild took advantage of the additional space the new site had to offer and improved the production layout left in Hoboken.
With a fresh start, highly skilled employees and plenty of room to grow, Guild flourished. It wasn't long before the Westerly factory became renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, quality and the introduction of many of the Guild's beloved acoustics. The dedication to innovation was evident, with meticulous attention to detail. Inspired by this golden age, the Guild Westerly collection continues the tradition of impeccable craftsmanship and unwavering excellence by incorporating high quality materials and classic Guild designs into every instrument.
