The Hama W500-C LED work light provides practical lighting when you need to keep both hands free to work. Whether in a workshop, under the bonnet of a car, in a garage or for DIY jobs at home, its compact size – 15.7 cm wide – and weight of around 120 g mean you can easily carry it along with your tools. Its maximum brightness of 500 lumens provides a sufficiently wide beam to give you a clear view of your work area, with a daylight-type white light at 6500 K.

The W500-C offers 6 modes to adapt the lighting to your needs: white LED, high-intensity COB LED, medium-intensity COB LED, low-intensity COB LED, steady red COB LED and flashing red COB LED. The brightness of the white LED and the COB LED can be adjusted to two levels. The COB LED produces wide, even illumination, which is useful when you need to light up a surface rather than a specific point.

To position the lamp where it’s actually needed, a built-in magnet allows it to be attached to metal surfaces, whilst the fold-down hook can be used to hang it from a pipe, cable or rod. When folded away, it takes up less space for transport in a car or toolbox, as well as for storage in the workshop or cellar. Its lithium-polymer battery recharges via USB-C using a 5 V/1 A USB power supply, offering a claimed battery life of up to 8 hours. Its plastic casing is impact-resistant and its IP44 rating protects it against water splashes, including in the rain, snow or slush.
