Presentation
The Hammond SK PRO incorporates the most advanced 'Modelled Tone Wheel 1' (MTW1) sound engine, which the manufacturer had already incorporated into the XK-5, a standard in digital 'tone wheel' organ sound.
The SK PRO is equipped with a new-generation digital Leslie that brings a richer authenticity, including the airflow of the Leslie rotors, faithfully reproducing the unique sound of the Leslie and its three-dimensional effect.
It also features a new tube modelling system to deliver the 'warmth-to-tube' essential to Hammond.
Hammond's SK series is renowned for setting the standard for portable stage keyboards with just the right combination of features for a wide variety of musicians of all genres. Hammond's new SK PRO takes those standards up a notch and enhances the SK concept with unprecedented tonal versatility and functionality, all combined with real-time logic controls.
Available in a 73-key version (SK PRO 73).

For NAMM 2021, Hammond is setting the bar very high with the Hammond SK PRO, a powerful portable stage keyboard available in 61 or 73 keys. This year, it's thanks to a fully digitised version of the NAMM Show (Pandemic obliges) that we can discover this new Hammond product.
The recently developed Virtual Multi-Contact system replicates the keyboard behaviour of a Vintage Hammond Organ, offering the player the distinctive Hammond 'touch' experience down to the finest detail. For even greater versatility, our optional MIDI Pedalboards such as the XPK-130G, XPK-200G, XPK-200GL, can trigger this Virtual Multi-Contact system for pedalboard sounds.
A special system emulating the Matching Transformer of a vintage Hammond Organ adds striking authenticity to Hammond Harmonic Drawbar tones.
In addition to the pull-tab sound sets, the SK PRO also models the Italian, British and Japanese organ combos that have made a comeback in today's music.
The player can also call on the full range of Classic Pipe Organ Voices, and for the first time ever in a modern keyboard, a range of Theatre Pipe Organ Voices is now included.
