Six instruments set down, six instruments protected, zero unnecessary handling - that's the logic behind the multi-position stand designed for musicians who change instruments during a set or manage a fleet of instruments in the workshop. The Hercules GS526B PLUS is based on a folding Auto Grip System that automatically grips the neck as soon as the instrument is put down, without prior manual adjustment, adapting its grip to neck widths from 40 to 52 mm - from classical nylon to electric bass and steel-string acoustic.
The adjustable, multi-angle back rests accommodate the most varied instrument geometries without forcing the body edges or unbalancing the support. Protective SFF foam at all points of contact protects lacquered finishes and unfinished wooden bodies from pressure marks, even over long periods of storage. The overall height of the stand can be adjusted from 1,500 to 1,900 mm using the Power Lock Lever, a quick-release lever that locks the structure in place with a single press, without the need for tools. Maximum load capacity: 40 kg for all six positions.
The 2 N.I.N.A pairs included - adapters for instruments with narrow necks from 28 mm - extend compatibility to banjos, mandolins and ukuleles without additional purchase. Folded up, the stand measures 1,220 × 160 × 160 mm and weighs 5.4 kg, a reasonable size for transport in a van or storage in a slide. Reinforced non-slip feet keep the stand securely in place on both smooth stage surfaces and studio floors.
